About Parelli Professional Berin Macfarlane

Berin Macfarlane has over 15 years of horse experience. More than half of that time has been spent working on cattle stations, sheep stations, pen riding at feedlots and starting colts in both Australia and the U.S.A. During this time he also worked and trained his stock dogs (Australian Kelpie).

Berin was introduced to Natural Horse.Man.Ship while working on the cattle stations in far north Queensland. In 2004 he was offered a unique opportunity to go to the USA to work for Pat Parelli. Between 2004 and 2009, Berin gained extensive experience through all facets of Parelli Natural Horse.Man.Ship. These included everything from facility maintenance and design, to actually managing both the Colorado and the Florida Facilities.

He participated in numerous Colt start modules (instructed by Pat Parelli and Rob McAuliffe), School modules, a 10-week university module with Pat, and received a 6-month scholarship to ride with Pat. Berin was then accepted into the Faculty that teaches at the Parelli Facilities.

He has been teaching and presenting on the Faculty Since January 2008. Berin had a great opportunity at the end of 2008 and was selected to teach in Australia for 6 weeks at the Australian Parelli Facility. Berin has gained a wealth of knowledge from spending many years at the Parelli Facilities and studying closely with Linda and Pat Parelli.

Berin is extremely passionate about his Horse.Man.Ship journey and developing yours.
